 Clay is a trusted renewable energy professional with over a decade of experience on utility-scale projects. He provides strategic oversight across all stages of project development, from site evaluation and equipment selection to contract negotiations, construction management and interconnection management. His background includes senior roles in preconstruction for Swinerton, RES Americas and Sunpower, delivering efficient, cost-effective solutions for large-scale solar and wind projects. Clay was a founding member of Texas based developer 7X Energy, where as Vice-President of EPC he managed a large portfolio of projects, overseeing procurement, preconstruction, construction, and commissioning. Since the acquisition of 7X Energy by BP and LSBP in 2021, Clay has worked as a private consultant, supporting project development, construction, and interconnection as an owner’s representative.  He lives in Golden, CO where he enjoys mountain biking and spending time with his family.
